BIOGRAPHY_

Petra Ronner is a musician and artist based in Zürich, Switzerland. She appears as pianist www.musinfo.ch, runs a concert series www.gnombaden.ch and teaches sound in the context of design and scenografy www.fhnw.ch/hgk/iis. She is presently doing her Master of Art in Public Sphere at Kunsthochschule Lucerne www.hgk.fhz.ch focussing on artistic video- and soundprojects. She was resident artist in South Africa in 2006 and will stay at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2008. Recent recordings at www.vexer.ch, upcoming concert engagements include Cage Sonatas and Interludes for prepared piano, Stockhausen Kontakte for tape, piano and percussion, Schönberg Pierrot Lunaire and new works by Swiss composers Rico Gubler and Thomas Müller.
